To hardcore fans, getting confirmation that the Jonas Brothers have in fact packed it in, may be a total surprise. But to everybody else, it was only a question of when. More times than not, boy bands go their separate ways and almost always get back together some years from now for a special tour or recording project. Now that the Jonas Brothers have broken up, the race is on to see who the real star is. Our money is on Joe Jonas to break out and make a name for himself. We knew it was over after this miserable attempt of a comeback called "pom poms"
According to People their decision to break up came after a October 3 meeting where Nick shared his concerns about the band and its future. "It's really hard to say 'forever.' We're closing a chapter, for sure," he said in the issue. "I was feeling kind of trapped. I needed to share my heart with my brothers." The guys are expected to address more about the split in the issue which its newsstands Friday. They will also appear on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday.
