Designer of The Rocafella Records Logo Suing for $7 Million

Rocafella Records may be long gone, but there are people who were there from the beginning who are still owed money for their contribution to its birth.

Dwayne Walker designed the logo for Roc-A-Fella Records — the label co-founded by Jay Z among others — in 1995 for $3,500 and 2% of revenues for ten years. His suit claims he never received that 2%, amounting to $7 million.
Looking at the logo today, one would say the design isn't worth even the $3500 paid for it. But then again, it was designed in the 1990s.
