Pop star Rihanna has been getting heat over her video for "Man Down". We think the reason for this is that people in and out the media are reading too deeply into it and is reaching a conclusion based on what happened between her and then boyfriend Chris Brown almost 3 years ago. The singer has been hitting back at critics while explaining that people are missing the message in the video.
"Man Down' is a song about a girl who committed a murder that she regrets and is completely remorseful about it, In making that into a mini-movie or a video, we needed to go back to why it happened, because obviously she's not a cold-blooded killer...and we decided to hone in on a very serious matter that people are afraid to address."
