Everyone Wants to be President of Def Jam

Since the departure of Shawn "Jay Z" Carter and the death of his replacement Shakir Stewart, Def Jam has been without a leader. With the position of President still open, many well known artists and producers have been campaigning for the job. Producer DJ Khaled seems to be the front runner for the gig. He's been talking to one of the label's founders Russell Simmons to let him know how much he wants the gig, not that Russell has a say so in the decision, but we guess talking to the man who ran the label for years is always a good start.
