Some say it is dick-headish to have a gazillion followers on Twitter while only following a few hundred. We see this with some public figures, especially celebrities. They love their fans but apparently don't want their twitter feeds to be dominated by tweets from them. Celebs tend to follow other celebs while politicians actually follow their supporters. This behavior locks many celebrities (who actually manage their twitter page) into a bubble where they're only getting info and images from people they know. There are also those celebs who follow almost no one at all, using there twitter strictly as distribution for their rants and images but taking none in. Take for example Jaden Smith. The youngster has over 4 million twitter followers but only follows one twitter account. No its not his sister or one of his skater friends. Jaden Smith only gets tweets from a twitter account and its for for the Bob Marley brand. His buddy Justin Bieber has over 44 million followers and follows over 120,000. A small percentage of his total followers, but at least he is actually following people. Jaden's Sister Willow has over 3 million followers and follows a little over 16,000. Looks like Jaden is way too busy to follow back some of his fans. Some followers of celebs have threatened to activate a mass unfollowing of people like Jaden Smith who rakes in followers but fail to follow the people who support them.
