The New York Times got a little curious about what a music mogul like former Def Jam and Warner Music Group boss Lyor Cohen does on a Sunday. Suprisingly, its not what you think. No he isn't on some yacht in Barbados with Diddy and Madonna or on luxury shopping sprees. His Sunday's kinda looks like any other single father's. Its football, chauffeuring his teenage daughter, picking up dinner and getting the kids ready for the school week.
Late afternoons, I’m talking with my son or getting my daughter ready for the school week. Dinner is mostly takeout from the neighborhood. And then in the evening it’s typically very quiet. I like to sit upstairs and prepare myself for the week, make a plan of action. My week is full-tilt boogie. I wake up every morning and the singular thought in my head is that maybe today is the day that I’m going to find an artist who is so amazing, an artist who will change pop culture. I’m in hot pursuit, always.source›› nyt
