Rapper/Business Mogul Shawn "Jay Z" Carter along with his partners, officially announced what has been expected for a while now, that the team currently known as the New Jersey Nets, will now be known as the Brooklyn Nets beginning with the 2012-13 season. To top it all off, the re-christened team will make their debut in the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn following a special performance by Mr. Carter himself. Such a big announcement wouldn't be a big announcement without some well tailored suits and photo ops. So here now was the scene Monday afternoon during the Barclays Center press conference.
