Artist Linda Hoffman is a woman to inspire to be. She is strong talented and loves life. She is also battling breast cancer, but its not stopping her from showcasing her unique creations. She recently talked up her sculptures from her recent exhibit "Zen Dust" with the Harvard Post.
She works with old tools, tree trunks, shells, and other materials found in the New England landscape that she combines with poetry and one-of-a-kind bronze figures. She created her own form of art that was influenced by the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi — wabi meaning loneliness and solitariness, and sabi referring to objects showing the worn patina of age.
