People living in Manhattan think they have it bad in their tiny apartments. Well at least someone can take a photo of your apt standing inside of it. For Hong Kong's labor class living in 40 sq ft apartments (if you want to call it that), a photographer had to snap them in their apartment from the only angle to capture the whole space, from above. These people are part of the more than 100,000 laborers in China's sub-divided apartment units. This living set up is due to the fact that Hong Kong is bursting at the seams with people. There are 7 million people living in a 423 square mile area. That is the size of county in the state of Kentucky. Feel better about your studio apartment in Manhattan yet? Here are some images of China's labor class at home that will help you appreciate it more.
