American teenagers are some of the most creative. They're known for coming up with some of the most dangerous games to fill their time. Just a few year ago there was "head or gut" then their was the "cock punch" then the "slapping" now the latest teen game craze is called "knockout". This game calls for the random sucker punch knockout of total strangers simply going about their business. Videos have popped up all over the web and has attracted the attention of police chiefs across the country. Not only is this game dangerous for the clueless individual who suffers a random blow to the head, but it is also dangerous for the individual carrying out the attack. Such antics automatically puts the victim in a position (assuming the knockout attempt fails) to defend his/herself with lethal results, especially in states like Florida and Texas. So why are teenagers attracted to such dangerous games?
Youth violence expert Chuck Williams blamed the media and parents for what called extreme aggression by America's youth. Negative attention, he said, is often rewarded.
"That's America. America loves violence and so do our kids," Williams said. "We market violence to our children and we wonder why they're violent. It's because we are."
