Timbaland took a break from music because hackers tried to sabotage his relationship with Jay Z

Talk about someone who takes their job and what someone thinks of them seriously. Super producer Timbaland is making it clear while sounding a bit whiny that the relationship between he and Jay Z is good and that they don't argue they just communicate at the wrong time! Whatever that means! Apparently their relationship hit some black ice during the production of Jay Z's  "Blueprint 3" album when some tracks that Timbaland produced was leaked. Tim claims someone hacked into his engineer files and stole the data in an attempt to ruin the relationship between he and Jay Z. Honestly we don't know what Timbaland or any producer would gain by leaking tracks that are going to be officially released. But we could be missing something. The producer continues to explain his weird relationship with the rapper:

"Me and Jay is kinda weird," he told MTV in a recent interview. "Musically I take friendship very serious. Me and Jay, sometimes people think we have fallings-out. We don't have fallings-out, it's that we don't communicate at the proper time. I take friendship very seriously. I wanna tell him how I might feel about a situation. The last time we talked, he understood how I felt. He saw my point with the Keri [Hilson] stuff being leaked out and everything. I had nothing to do with that. I would never do that to him. Nothing against his wishes. It bothered me so bad I went on hiatus for a minute, because I would never disrespect his wishes. Like, 'I'm trying to do this with my album, please don't let that song get out or no leakage.' Four months later, the song is leaked. I felt so bad, because I would never want my friend to feel like we had some miscommunications."

So are the two still friends? Or does Jay Z still hold some grudges and doubts about who leaked his music? We never understood how and why these things happen. But they do. Sometimes on purpose
