Today we turn our attention to Tafari a man who isn't afraid to break the mold. Born into the music business, Tafari grew up around it and was destined to be in it.  Cutting out the middle man, Tafari has taken full control of his career. Not only is he a recording artist, but a businessman as well. He heads his own recording label Rud3 Music Recordings and has put together a team that shares his vision and passion for music. As he sets his own path via creative new sounds and collaborations, we only see nothing but success for him. We want you to get to know this artist and what he is about. Braving criticisms and living up to his powerful birth name “fearless one”
Tafari has branded himself as one of the few Soul/Hip-Hop/Reggae artists in
an industry reluctant to experiment with the genre of reggae. He has teamed
with producers Noah Mason and Jason Gilbert to create a sound that fuses
it all together, further laying stake to his “own” sound. Tafari’s stage show
experience is expansive as he has toured the world with his father Big Youth,
appearing on gigs all across the United States, UK, Europe, and South
America.

In the past three years Tafari has released singles with music videos in
Jamaica including “Rude Boy Warning/Bad Bad Bad” produced by Tony Kelly,
“Ain’t No Stoppin’” featuring Junior Reid Produced By JG, and “Not and
Easy Road” featuring Big Youth produced by Jg and Supa Dups. He also
scored two songs placed in academy award nominated Director/Producer
John Singleton’s film “Illegal Tender”.
