Step Out on Your Usual Bottle of Suds With These Tasty Brewskies

STUNNED BY BEER GUT
Some of us tend to stick to what we know when it comes to beer and women, but that's a whole other subject. Some of us are devoted drinkers of one type and/or brand of beer because we think it's the best beer in the world. But the truth is, there is no such thing. The world is full of great fucking beer my friends and and I am here to encourage you to step out on your usual bottle and get with some more tasty, darker, lighter beers. Your main beer doesn't have to know a thing, but eventually it will know that you stepped out, when you stop drinking it. Beer is wonderful, especially when coupled with good food. Here now are some brewskies I think you should get to know and when I say get to know, I mean get to know these beers. Take it from me a proud beer whore! Here is the buzz and info on some of the beers I've enjoyed.

ARROGANT BASTARD FOR YOU ARROGANT BASTARDS
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you will have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory — maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it’s made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better

WINTERLAND
Opaque, deep brown to black color. Rich roasted malt flavor. Generous hop bitterness and aroma. Reminiscent of a porter or stout with a surprising juniper berry finish.

HARPOON IPA
The high hopping of Harpoon IPA is not only noticeable in the nose but especially in the finish. The lingering bitter finish of this beer is not harsh or astringent, but crisp and pronounced. This is created, in part, by dry hopping – a technique that involves adding fresh hops to the conditioning beer to provide a fresh hop aroma.

DUVEL
Duvel is a 100% pure and natural beer, with no additives or preservatives. And you can taste the difference immediately. Its surprisingly high alcohol content (8.5%), huge, creamy head, delicate effervescence and silky smooth mouth feel is what distinguishes Duvel from other Belgian beers.

BLUE MOON BELGIAN WHITE
They've been brewing cloudy beer in Belgium for more than 300 years. This unfiltered style of ale combines malt, wheat and oats giving the Belgian White it's signature cloudy appearance and smooth full bodied taste

SIERRA NEVADA
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor.

RED STRIPE
Red Stripe Jamaican Lager has a refreshing taste, perfectly balancing malty-sweet and lightly hoppy flavors. The result is a lager that’s crisp, clean and easy to drink. Red Stripe is moderate in body, bitterness, hop aroma and has a low butterscotch flavor. 4.7% ABV

 NEGRA MODELO
Pours a smooth, dark tea color. A small, tan head sticks the glass. Smell is a pleasant, crisp hop and some roasted, brown sugary maltness. Taste starts out low with that sweet malt, then drifts into a woody, bitter hop. Good body. Feel is cool and lasting.
