Dylan Kwabena Mills -AKA- Dizzee Rascal will start off 2012 with a bang. The Ghanaian British rapper, songwriter and record producer has just inked a hefty multi layered deal with Universal Music Group hot off the heels of the announcement that the company is in the middle of taking over fallen music company EMI.
Dizzee's fifth album will come out on the respected imprint Island Records – home to acts such as U2 and late star Amy Winehouse. And artists on his label Dirtee Stank will also get big-money backing.[NME via SUN]
