Inside The Black Hole That is North Korea, Vice Takes Us There

STUNNED BY NELSON
North Korea is the most reclusive country in the world. No one knows what is really going on behind their boarders. The people there are shut off from the rest of the world. They only know what they are told by that country's leader Kim Jong Il (pictured) and his loyalists via the state run media. There is no line out or in. For decades many have tried to get in and failed, or got in and got caught. Its a scary place for many outsiders that is usually referred to as the end of the world. Vice tried for a year and half to get in and was denied time and time again. So they had to settle on going to the DMZ (the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea) until they finally found a way in. Its a scary place and quite frankly, we have no idea why anyone would want to get into such a country. But never the less, the video below is amazing and hi-lites how itchy things still are in the region decades after the end of the Korean war.
