As It Turns Out, Steve Jobs Was Never Fired From Apple

STUNNED BY DRE
With Apple founder Steve Jobs now gone, former Apple CEO John Sculley is finally telling his side of the story about what really happened back in the 80s when Steve Jobs disappeared from the company which was reported as a firing. But in a recent interview, Mr. Sculley said that Steve Jobs actually resigned from the company over disagreements over the Macintosh and whether or not it was ready to be pushed to the masses.
“I didn’t appreciate, coming out of corporate America… what it meant to a founder, the creator of Macintosh, to be asked to step down from the very division that he created to lead the very product that he believed was going to change the world.
