Facebook took the internet world by storm killing many social networks before it. It has grown into a can't live without tool for many around the world including companies that shill their brands none stop to the social network's millions of users. Launched from the college dorm room of it's founder Mark Zuckerberg (depending on who you ask), Facebook has grown into a top shelf media brand that out values traditional media companies like TimeWarner, NewsCorp, Viacom and Disney, at least on paper. Now with its planned IPO, Facebook will do for many what Google did when it went public, make them super rich. With the same laid back culture, environment and employee perks that made Google a success, many dream of working for the social network not only because of these things, but also for bragging purposes.
