For many years Cindy Sherman entertained the world with her camera sharing her vision and creativity through unique photos, complete with costumes, props and fake body parts. Now all this and more will be on display for all to see come Sunday at the Museum of Modern Art.
At many points throughout this dense, often exciting show, which opens on Sunday, we are confronted by an artist with an urgent, singularly personal vision, who for the past 35 years has consistently and provocatively turned photography against itself.
