Fashion is art, art is fashion and this comes to the forefront in Japanese designer Ryohei Kawanishi's "Entropy" collection which is based around the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. ViceStyle had a chat with Kawanishi about his designs and how world events serves as inspiration.
The disaster in Japan brought so many issues to the fore and they all became irretrievably intertwined and tangled up with each other, so I tried to make the clothes represent that by giving them a really tangled look, with many different fabrics being woven into each other.
