Steph Jones: Fuck The Music Industry, I'm a Health Coach Now

STUNNED BY DRE:
Like many new artists in the early 2000's, Steph Jones came on the music scene via a deal with Ludacris's DTP Records with high hopes and expectations. We're sure Steph dreamed of hit records, financial stability and living the good life. But none of that came with the release of his debut album "Mr. Ordinary". The only thing Steph was known for during his stint as a DTP artists was his guest appearance on the song and in the video for "Celebrity Chick", along with Ludacris and Chingy and making video appearances in label mate Bobby Valentino's "Anonymous" video among others. Inevitably Steph parted ways with DTP Records and went on to launch a short lived T-shirt line named after his debut album and also in 2010 released the mixtape "Gravity". But nothing seemed to take off for Steph on the music front. in early 2011, followers of Steph on Twitter and Facebook started to notice a new focus and direction from the model/singer. He stopped tweeting and posting about upcoming music projects and appearances. Instead he started tweeting about health and staying in shape and offering his services as a health and fitness coach for the overweight man and/or woman seeking to get on a healthy path. He also posted numerous shirtless photos of himself showing his transformation from fit, to fitter much to the delight of his female fans. Steph was now shilling for Herbal Life which dubs itself as a global nutrition company. Since switching career paths Steph revealed in his many tweets and Facebook postings that he was struggling financially.

He sometimes couldn't full up the tank of his Jeep Wrangler. He implied that what many people saw was a front to keep up appearances. But the reality was that he was flat broke. He unleashed a recent tongue lashing on the music industry, accusing them of raping artists and other unfair practices. Now his finances and even his physical appearance seem to have taken a turn for the better. Steph always looked physically fit but since dedicating his time and energy into being a full time fitness and health coach, Steph now has a super hero physique and even moved into a new place crediting his many clients and his Herbal Life family for his new found success. Unlike many other aspiring music stars who simply disappear into the ashes of superstar wannabes, Steph accepted reality and put his livelihood first. Today he is all about his health and fitness coach business and has a list of happy and newly fit clients and he doesn't seem to be looking back. His website (Stephjonesmusic.com) once dedicated to his music , now redirects to his Facebook page where he relentlessly promotes his services as a health coach.

He used to post many photos of himself and his more famous friends at hot spots in L.A. but that lifestyle is of the past as he shuns all things unhealthy. His rumored relationship with American Idol star Jordin Sparks also seems to have evaporated. Steph for the most part over the past 2 years has remained under the radar. The only buzz he's had before his health and fitness success, was when an alleged former groupie or sex buddy released these photos of a half naked Steph in a hotel room putting on his underwear after what looked like a steamy sex session. However he was unfazed by the photo leak which many accused him of releasing in an effort to keep the gossip blogs talking about him. The only thing that pressed his buttons was the fact that he felt drowned out by the music industry. He seems focused on the next and never the past. At this rate of success in the health and fitness game, its only a matter of time before we start to see Steph Jones branded fitness tools and videos all accessible from a  new website bearing his full name and new healthy image.
