Like Google, Facebook provides near endless resources for its employees. From laundry to free food, to hair care, pet care etc. Yeah they are good at keeping their employees focused on work by putting daily necessities all in one place. Now the social media giant is going a step further by building what will basically be its own town so that its hundreds of geniuses can literally live at work. Talk about staying one step ahead of the competition.
The social network said this week it is working with a local developer
to build a $120 million, 394-unit housing community within walking
distance of its offices. Called Anton Menlo, the 630,000 square-foot
rental property will include everything from a sports bar to a doggy day
care.
