We will admit that we failed to include Pharrell Williams in our short list of music's best dressed men behind the music. But we are attempting to make up for that publishing gaffe with this feature on Mr. Williams who we believe is one of the most fashionable and influential men in music, pop culture and yes fashion. Hey the man is in Vogue Editor Anna Wintour's Rolodex. We've watched his every move and his every style decision. Pharrell can pull of certain looks that many can't. His skater/hip hop/ GQ dapperness is loved by the fashion world and fans alike. He is not flamboyant with his look but yet, it catches your eye. Pharrell seems to stick to the "Less is more" way of things when it comes to getting dressed. And it is this approach that gives him the edge. T-Shirts, cut off cargo shorts and sneakers is Pharrell's trademark look, a look that caught on with fans and the pop culture world. It caught on so well that he co-founded the clothing brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Footwear in an effort to bring this look to the masses with his signature. He has a store in New York City. In 2008, HE co-designed a series of glasses and jewelry for Louis Vuitton. The jewelry line is called Blason. He has also worked on furniture with Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin and a French manufacturer, Domeau & Pérès. One of his works, a molded plastic seat with human legs, was created because he "wanted to know what it was like to be in love." The chair depicts a sexual scene with a pair of female legs and male legs. Pharrell was embraced by the art world when he landed on the January 2010 cover of art and culture magazine Modern Painters which also featured his chair designs.
