Justin Bieber's BET Award Nomination Causing Many to Scratch Their Heads

Unless you've been living under a rock, there is this 16 year old pint sized Canadian kid by the name of Justin Beiber who's been kicking ass on the charts for months. he is the latest teeny-bop sensation causing your little daughters to faint from a simple glimpse at him. Well the kid is nominated for a"Best new artist" award for the upcoming BET Awards ceremony and this is causing many to ask WTF? Why?  We don't know!! His mentor is Usher, one of the biggest artist on the planet and he does make music that appeals to young black girls. Its not like that corny bubble gummy shit Aaron Carter used to poison the ears of young suburban girls with.

Why is Nicki Minaj even Nominated for a BET Award?

Drake, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj lead the pack of nominees for the 10th annual BET Awards, which will be hosted by Queen Latifah.  Drake is nominated for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and twice for Best Collaboration for "Successful" with Trey Songz and "Forever" f/Eminem, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. He was also nominated three times as part of Young Money. Jay-Z received five noms, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Viewers’ Choice, Video of the Year and twice in the Best Collaboration category for “Empire State of Mind” f/Alicia Keys and “Run this Town” f/Kanye West and Rihanna. Newcomer Minaj picked up nods for Best New Artist and Best Female Hip-Hop Artist in addition to three nominations with Young Money. For the full list of nominees, go here
