Amy Winehouse Tops The Charts

The late and troubled artist Amy Winehouse continues to have success with her posthumous release "Lioness" which sits atop the UK charts and is 2011's top seller. This is her biggest UK charts success ever. Guess the saying is true...Artists are worth more dead than alive. We miss you Amy.

Winehouse's set made its winning start as the top four titles on the album chart all recorded six-figure sales, according to the OCC. "It's such amazing news that Amy's album has gone to No. 1, and just goes to show what she still means to people," said her mother Janis. £1 from the sale of each album is being donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Cee Lo Green's 'F--- You' Reaches Record-Breaking #1

Cee Lo Green is one of the biggest artist out right now, but we seem to hear more about the not so big artists while this major force in music stays half way under the radar. Perhaps its his own doing. But if you're ever in doubt about this man's status in the industry, just check the charts. Cee Lo Green's "F---You (Forget You)" rises 2-1 on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 chart in its 25th chart week, completing the longest journey to the summit in the Nielsen BDS-based radio airplay ranking's 18-year history. The song passes the 23-week climb to No. 1 on Mainstream Top 40 for P!nk's "U + Ur Hand" in 2006-07. The Mainstream Top 40 chart span of "F---You" is actually 30 weeks, dating to its debut on the Sept. 25, 2010, survey. The song reached an original peak of No. 18 in October in a nine-week chart stay through Nov. 20.

Chris Brown Tops Pop Charts

As expected, Chris Brown's latest effort F.A.M.E. is sitting atop the pop charts this week when many thought he blew it again with his flip out at GMA. Brown is clearly out from under the dark cloud that hovered over his head for two years. His true fans never left him and believe it or not he has attracted new ones.
