This $129 Blood Spattered Kent State Sweatshirt From Urban Outfitters Sold Out Fast and Some People Aren't Happy

Urban Outfitters in its never ending search of edginess, probably got too edgy with their latest piece of clothing. The company created a faux blood spattered "Kent State" sweatshirt and put it on sale for $129. The sweatshirt has since sold out but not without angering many including officials at Kent State:

"We take great offense to a company using our pain for their publicity and profit," read a Kent State University statement posted on Monday. "This item is beyond poor taste and trivializes a loss of life that still hurts the Kent State community today."

Gisele Bundchen and Soccer Superstar Neymar da Silva Santos Jr Front Brazil Vogue

Two of Brazil's biggest stars, 33 yr old model/actress Gisel Bundchen and 22 yr old soccer star Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, commonly known as Neymar Jr.  front the current issue of Brazil Vogue. Back in March to two teamed up in the Catalan city of Barcelona for a Vogue Brazil photo shoot. The shoot is for a World Cup story in the current issue.

Rita Ora In Deal With Designer Roberto Cavalli

Pop star Rita Ora who records for Jay Z's Roc Nation Records label wore a see-through Roberto Cavalli dress so well at the Coachella Music Festival earlier this month, that the designer decided to bring her on as a model for his fashion house. This follows pervious modeling gigs for DKNY and Madonna’s line Material Girl. Rita also developed a cosmetics line with Rimmel.

The Oscars Will Feature Some of Music's Heavy Hitters and Possibly Another Vivienne Westwood Mountain Hat On Pharrell's Head

This year's Oscars will see the performance of  major songs with nominations by some of today's biggest names in music. This will surely keep the audience and viewers at home entertained. The broadcast which takes place on March 2, promises big surprises:

U2, Pharrell Williams, Karen O and Idina Menzel are slated to perform the nominated original songs. Bette Midler and Pink are also set to perform, though producers haven't said exactly what.

Some Fashion Bloggers to Get the Boot During Fashion Week

Fern Mallis, former head of IMG Fashion and creator of New York Fashion Week was not happy with the current state of the twice a year gathering of designers, buyers and media. She was sick of the flood of "fashion bloggers" who some how became front row occupiers replacing fashion big wigs and magazine editors in most cases. She began to flip things back in the order she thought it should be with less bloggers and more movers and shakers of the fashion industry. Fern never got to implement these plans due to her departure from IMG. However, IMG Fashion's current head honcho Catherine Bennett is bringing this plan to life in an effort to squash what she said has become a zoo. Such a move will no doubt piss off some of those fashion bloggers used to front row treatment, but it looks like IMG wants to get fashion week back to the business of fashion and less gossip and runway recaps.
