Vevo.com, the online music video network is a huge hit just a month after it launched
If you haven't checked it out yet, then you're spending way too much time surfing the web for porn our updating your status on Facebook. When Vevo.com a joint venture between Universal Music Group and Youtube.com launched a month ago, we have to admit we were skeptical, especially when executives claimed they wanted the site to be the new MTV. But now our skepticism has turned to shock mixed with a bit of happiness as we now learn that Vevo.com is a big fucking hit, attracting 35 million visitors and having 13 million videos viewed just a month after it launched. But here is a little skepticism again, could this be the new site trend where many flock to go see what all the fuss is about? Will Vevo's traffic continue to soar or will it start to come back down to earth. Also, do visits from employees of Universal Music Group and other major labels involved in the venture count? Well, there is no doubt UMG CEO Doug Morris who championed the development of the site is looking like a genius right now. Well done sir, well done.
