Janet Jackson Tells Simon Cowell No! So Stun Came up With Some Suggestions For New Female X-Factor Judges

STUNNED BY DRE
Since the shake up at his X-Factor talent show which saw the removal of judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, creator/producer Simon Cowell has been tossing out feelings to potential new judges. When the changes took place it was first rumored that the fiery tongued judge offered pop star Beyonce a massive $500 million 5 year deal to sit in as a judge but those rumors were quickly dismissed. Cowell then approached singer Janet Jackson, but now news has broke that she turned down the offer leaving Cowell and company out in the dust to start from scratch again. Cowell can get new female judges easily, but he is looking for someone who is currently registering high on the celebrity rating chart which is making it difficult, because no one registering high on that chart would want to join a talent search TV show out of fear of being seen as a has been. So to help Simon with his little dilemma we came up with five suggestions we think would be perfect to fill Paula and Nicole's old seats. They don't register high on the ratings chart but they are known.

SHELBY LYNNE:
The country pop singer and song writer is a true musician who can definitely lend some good advice to wannabe singers. She's had many hits and has a huge following and knows a thing or two about making good music.

KELLY ROWLAND:
Sure she had a buzz over the summer with her hit "Motivation" which landed her some new fans and boosted her standing as a solo artist. But the truth is since that one hit, Kelly has quickly fallen back into the shadows of her former group mate Beyonce who can't seem to go away, if even to give Kelly some time to shine. As an experienced artist, Kelly's mentoring would definitely be welcomed.

 MISSY ELLIOT:
Missy Elliot has been off the scene for some time now due to health reasons. But the singer/rapper/producer/song writer is a force to be reckoned with in the music business. She knows talent when she hears and sees it and she can definitely help Simon find the next big X-Factor star.

ADELE:
OK, so Adele registers high on the ratings scale, especially after her clean up act at the Grammys. But she is about to take some time off from making music to focus on her relationship. But that can get boring really quick and Adele should definitely do something to at least keep her name in the game. She would be a great addition to the X-Factor judges table and she would bring the viewers as well.

TAMAR BRAXTON:
Toni's younger sister is a huge reality TV star who is also trying to break into the music business as a solo act. She has a massive following thanks to her bubbly animated personality and she is married to one of the most powerful men in the music business Vince Herbert. Tamar knows what she wants and won't hold back to tell it like it is to Simon or even a contestant who isn't pleasuring her ears. She would definitely bring that life the show lacked in its first season.

Paula Abdul & Nicole Scherzinger Booted From The X Factor?

STUNNED BY DRE
There is already a reported shake up at Simon Cowell's X-Factor talent show that may see  the show's return in the fall without  co-judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. This after Abdul finished the first season with no talent under her guidance and Scherzinger being blamed for the elimination of Rachel Crow who broke down in front of America.
Abdul had a tough time mentoring the groups, becoming the first judge without contestants on season 1. And Scherzinger faced serious backlash after Crow's elimination. With the women off the judges' panel, record producer L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell, who is also the executive producer of the talent competition, are the only familiar faces that remain.

Simon Cowell: I Wanted to Bang Paula Abdul But...

By UL
Here is a no shocker. During his run on American Idol, Simon Cowell admits to Barbara Walters that he wanted to bed Paula Abdule but then decided against it.

Dubbed "Mr. Nasty" during his Idol days, Cowell, 52, told Barbara Walters on the TV titan's annual 10 Most Fascinating People special Wednesday that he couldn't go through with bedding her because he was afraid of the aftermath.

"I mean, the truth was, on the first two seasons, we couldn't travel on the same plane together. We really disliked each other that much," Cowell told Walters, arguing that they clashed due to "sexual tension…on her part."

Is Simon Cowell Using Tonight's X-Factor Finally as a Showcase For His SYCO Artists?

STUNNED BY DRE
Two major music companies, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group have filed complaints that show creator/owner Simon Cowell is using tonight's X-Factor finally as a showcase for his roster of artists under his SYCO label. But doesn't he have the power to do what he wants?
On the two shows, only Michael Buble (who is signed with Epic) and Coldplay (a Warner act) will come from outside the Sony family. However, Michael is due to perform in an ITV hour long special later this month. An industry insider complained about the lineup in an interview with The Guardian, insisting that the bias towards those affiliated with the show and Simon Cowell is obvious.

Paula Abdul Reunites With Simon Cowell as X-Factor Judge

Paula Abdul and her fellow former American Idol Judge Simon Cowell will tell music wannabes like it is together again on Cowell's new talent search show X-Factor. Adbul also joins former Def Jam boss L.A. Reid at the judges table as well. Dubbed the American Idol Killer, there is plenty of buzz around X-Factor, especially about the grand prize which is said to be $5 million, an immediate kill for American Idol. The grand prize alone will siphon off contestants from American Idol. For Simon Cowell, landing his pal Paula Adul wasn't easy.
As late as Saturday afternoon, it was unclear whether negotiations between the ex-"American Idol" judge and "X Factor" producers would result in a signed contract before Abdul was scheduled to report for duty on Sunday. THR first reported Friday that talks were taking much longer than planned. One issue, according to sources, was an option that CBS had on Abdul based on a deal for her to participate in the short-lived CBS competition show "Live to Dance." That deal, according to two sources close to "X Factor," contained language that could have prevented Abdul from joining the new show.

Edward Cullen wants a music career but not the attention that comes with it

Talk about being between a rock and instant stardom. Robert Pattinson who plays the lovable and swoon generating Edward Cullen in the vampire love story flicks, Twilight & New Moon, is also a budding musician. He has a track on the New Moon soundtrack and is attracting attention from music big shots, like Simon Cowell who is said to be interested in signing up Pattinson to his label. But Pattinson, in all his down homie-ness is iffy about signing up with Simon Cowell for fear of the attention such a deal would get. Correct us if we're wrong but wouldn't that be a good thing? You know, hot actor signs with hot music exec? That would be great buzz for a debut CD no? Apparently Pattinson is of the impression that fans and fellow musicians won't take him seriously. But he is mistaken if he thinks he is going to sign with a label to quietly put out music. Hell you are Robert Pattinson for crying out loud. One of the hottest young actors in Hollywood take advantage lad. Here is our advise to the glittery vampire, if you're not serious about being a force in the music biz, stop talking to labels and burn your own CDs and hand them out at Twilight rallies or something. You have the fans.

As a big question mark hangs over American Idol, we start the looong goodbye to Simon Cowell

He as been the star of the show since it hit the airwaves  8 years ago. He has been hated and loved by viewers and contestants alike. But now he must move on to new things, well kinda. Not even a reported offer from Fox of $140 million could have kept Simon at American Idol. All great things must come to an end and this may be the beginning of the end for American Idol. But we won't let Simon go without taking a trip down memory lane. Here are some of Simon's best and worst calls courtesy of our pals at Idolator.com

American Idol about to die, Simon Cowell is out

How many talent search shows do we really need? Anyway, Simon Cowell, the man who made American Idol worth watching the first two seasons will leave the show after the 2010 season to focus on bringing the American version of his hit British talent show “X Factor” to the United States in 2011. But wait, didn't he just sign on with Idol for some major $$? Well at least Paula will have some company outside the Idol walls. With this news, I guess we can't all start watching the slow death of American Idol. Long overdue we think. We await the names of possible Simon replacements.
