Mega pop star Lady Gaga hit a mega milestone yesterday when she reach 20 million followers on twitter making her the first pop star to do so, blazing past fellow popsters like Justin Bieber, Katie Perry and Shakira to name a few. We think Gaga has the winning formula and here is why:

Unlike some other stars, the best-selling singer has said she personally updates her account. Last month, she revealed she was preparing to launch her own social network, Little Monsters.

Fake Kanye West Twitter Account Shut Down

Kanye West who is going full speed ahead with his new fashion company, took to the Twitter airwaves yesterday to clear the air on a new twitter account @ Dwbykanye to let his fans know that he won't co-sign anything tweeted under that account because it wasn't real. The Twitter police have since shut down the fake account which posed as the official Twitter feed for West's new fashion line. Said Kanye via his Twitter feed yesterday:

"I really appreciate the fake DW twitter page but since it's not official I can't co sign any information on it,"

Beyonce attracts 1 million twitter followers without ever tweeting once

You know you're a big deal when you can launch a twitter page and attract 1 million followers without ever posting a tweet. Beyonce probably will hold this record. An unverified twitter page set up for or by the singer sits idle as fans click the "Follow" button every single day. Wouldn't it be drag if the page was a fake? Someone needs to start tweeting fast before these followers start to fall off.
