Cameron Jibril Thomaz -aka- Wiz Khalifa is one of many rappers who burst onto the scene in the early 2000s and has been on a steady rise since. Superstardom has been great, but the bigger you get, the more you realize that all the fly shit comes with a price, and that's no secret. In his little over 5 yrs in the major rap game, Wiz has sparked up a cult like following built on mega hits like 'Black & Yellow', 'Say Yeah' among many other memorable radio main stays. He lives the rock star life complete with shopping sprees an endless supply of weed and one of the most wanted women, Amber Rose. With all this Wiz has had to deal with the ugly part of his rock star status life. He was recently cleared on a drug trafficking count. that could have sent him away for many years. But that was just a tiny blip on a much bigger map to dominate the entertainment industry. In addition to his hit records, Wiz is working on a movie titled 'High School' which he is making with fellow weedist Snoop Dog and sounds like a remake of Method Man and Redman's 'How High' or something close to it. Like many of his peers, Wiz has had to deal with criticism from his fans as well. Not because he is falling off with his music, but because he loves his girlfriend Amber Rose "too much". He's been getting a lot of negative feedback from fans who thinks he is whooped and displays this in public by being overly affectionate in pictures and on TV. Some anger stems from many of his fans not trusting his girlfriend who they see as a gold digger hopping from rapper to rapper. But Wiz Brushes off all of that. In a recent interview with CNN Wiz defends his PDA for his girlfriend by saying:
"It’s awesome to have that support and to have that base. It gives me structure, it gives me discipline and it helps me work on other stuff that’s much more important. I feel like everybody has some person that’s out there for them. If you tap into that and take advantage of it and hold it close and treat it like what it is, that’s when you’ll get – fully – out of it what you’re supposed to"Check out more of what Wiz had to say during his Q&A with CNN.com
