Video: Hard Hitting Rap Lyrics From the Mouth of Children

From ecstasy to mdma to molly, this popular party drug didn't only go through 3 name changes, it also got another shot in the arm from many artists in music. From Miley Cyrus to some of the biggest rappers on the planet, they all name drop the drug in their songs while the clueless often wonder who is this girl Molly everyone keeps shouting out on their records. A marketing agency out of Los Angeles is bringing attention to the demographic often forgotten about, but who has access for the most part, to these artist praising Molly, the KIDS!
Created by Jimmy Smith II and Jarrel Smith of L.A.-based agency Amusement Park, "Kids" is a video that shows a bunch of children parroting the language of rap songs. It is by no means the first project whose thesis statement is "Won't somebody think of the children!" but it manages to raise the issue in a way that represents the pervasiveness of radio rap's negative aspects. The video doesn't just call out foul language or drug use, but the thick layer of misogyny other questionable attitudes that envelope so many songs.
