Julian Casablancas does a solo

Memba The Strokes? Memba it's lead singer who was always drunk during live performances and even sometimes on recordings? Yeah the dude Julian Casablancas. Well he is about to bless us with a solo record so its only right that he lands a profile in the New York Times.  naturally the feature tries too hard to make his process recording and his life more dramatic than it really is because we all know every rock star's story kinda reads the same right?

“It’s fun; I won’t lie,” he said on a recent visit back east. “L.A.’s kind of, like, seven really cool towns. It’s so laid-back. If you go in the right spot, you can walk around, and you don’t need a car. It’s a lot easier to eat healthy. And the weather!”
