Apparently Brittany Murphy had to die to get some music industry love

E! Online’s Marc Malkin reports that music industry insiders are scratching for Brittany’s tracks for a possible posthumous release and to not look like the greedy opportunists they really are, some industry walkers are trying to justify the sudden increased interest in releasing her music:
“Obviously this isn’t a Michael Jackson thing, but people are definitely interested in Brittany and her story. Depending on what she may have recorded and what kind of quality it is, she could end up having a hit song or two.”

You mean whatever label is claws their way to victory will have a hit song or two! OK we get the fact that there are fans out their who would like to hear the recordings she made and that its standard business practice for labels to use the death of an artist to make money but Wow!! can we mourn please?
