Over the past few years Kanye West has been either calling out for help and/or rebelling. He Famously stated on live TV during a Katrina telethon that then President George W. Bush didn't care about black people. He swigged straight from a bottle of Hennessy during last years MTV Video Music Awards. And at that same show he ran up on stage and took away the moment from young country singer Taylor Swift who was accepting her first VMA. Now with the tragedy in Haiti, celebs are coming together to host a string of telethons and it looks like none of them wants the outspoken rapper to be a part of any of it. We wonder why? Naughty But Nice has the scoop:
As very A-list stars begin lining up like planes on a runway for Friday's big Haiti telethon organized by Mr. George Clooney, sources tell me one celebrity was definitely not invited -- Kayne West.
"After what he said on the Katrina telethon and the way he behaved at the MTV Video Music Awards, everyone agrees it's just best that he does not participate," a producing partner told me. "Kayne has to make everything about himself. He will do anything to steal the spotlight and, well, this night it's just not about him."
