Lil Wayne's looking forward to Jail

UPDATE: LIL WAYNE'S SENTENCING HAS BEEN PUSHED OUT TO MARCH 2nd WHILE HE UNDERGOES DENTAL SURGERY

Lil Wayne is headed for Rikers Island to spend some time thinking about why and how he ended up their as well as writing his next album we're sure. Lately these rappers don't seem to be fazed by doing time in the big house. In fact it really does seem normal. Going to jail for some rappers is just another marketing vehicle and a inspiration vacation so when they come out they have all fresh material to share with America, which is kinda sad. In his last interview before going to Jail for playing with guns, Lil Wayn tells Rolling Stone's Chris Norris he is looking forward to the experience. Rolling Stone is also offering Weezy fans the chance to win his documentary The Carter and a special Weezy T-shirt via a sweepstakes so you can remember him for the short 8 months he will be away for even though you will still be hearing and seeing him on your radios and television screens. “I don’t like to stop,” Wayne tells RS‘ Chris Norris. “I believe you stop when you die.” So in the weeks before he reports to Rikers Island, Wayne is keeping busy — recording tracks bound for Tha Carter IV (the album Cash Money staffers call “C4″ because it’ll be the bomb), shooting videos with his Young Money protégés, spending time with his growing family, and deliberately not asking anyone for advice about life on the inside. “This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like,” he says. “I just say I’m looking forward to it.”
