Photos: We are the World 2.0

On Monday some of the recording industry's brightest stars desended on a recording studio in Los Angeles California to re-record an iconic record made 25 years go in an effort to raise money for Haiti. "We are the World" was re-recorded on Monday with almost all new voices, some of which weren't even born when the original recording was released. The remake has generated a  lot of buzz among the artists involved but not all were happy about the new recording. There were artist who felt that the song should have remained untouched and re-released if needs be. We guess it is now safe to say that, artists like Beyonce, Jay Z, Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Fantasia, Madonna and others who were noticeably absent were against the song being re-made.
