Diddy's Underground Superstar

Diddy may be busy milking money from the beverage industry through his investments in Ciroc and now AQUAhydrate, but the man who got his start in the music business, is still very much in the music business. Badboy Records seems to be merely an imprint under Interscope Records now but its still churning out hit artists. One of their latest projects is rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) who has amassed a cult like following around the country. MGK looks like the cliche punk rocker, but he is a die hard hip hop head who's worked with some of the industry's major players like Nicki Minaj, Dr. Dre, Asap Rocky, Drake and more. With his latest release "Lace Up" MGK continues to build his following and rack up sales that are good enough to keep his bosses at BadBoy/Interscope happy. A single father to a daughter, MGK inspires his fans to follow their dreams and includes them in every move he makes via his Instagram page humorously titled Cockpunch, even when he is taking a bath (see pic accompanying this post). He is currently on the "LACE UP" tour hitting every corner in the U.S to sold out audiences. He has also graced magazine covers including YRB, Source and Inked magazine. MGK says seeing himself on magazine covers will probably never get old. Staying humble is the key.
