#AlGore The $200 Million Man

When Al Gore was Vice President of the United States, he was just a regular joe when it came to his bank account. He mostly lived off his government salary and basically had free housing as the second in command. When he left office and lost the Presidency in a court ruling to George W. Bush in 2000, he was only worth around $1.6 million. To get over his loss to Bush, Al Gore grew a beard, gained some weight and co-founded Current TV. He also joined the board of Apple Inc. Fast forward to 2013, thanks to the sale of the struggling Current TV to Al Jazeera and some stock in Apple, Mr. Gore now sits on a heap of cash estimated to be around $200 million which some expect him to tap into to build a small media empire.
