Here at Stun, we like interesting things and people. We like to feature the known unknowns, and the up and comers who we believe will make a huge mark in their respective industries. Stun was lucky enough to land an interview with such a person. Mr. Leon Christian, a breath of fresh air to an already crowded fashion arena. Leon's new t-shirt line speaks volumes and people are starting to take notice. His much anticipated line called "The Speak Tee" Ran it's first print ad in Vice Magazine and if Leon Christian's plan falls into place, this, will be just the tip of the tip of the iceberg. Stun: Who is Leon Christian?
Leon Christian: Leon Christian is a very passionate young man who gives 110 percent of himself to anything that he's involved in or believes in. He is a slave to his own creativity and is not your average designer. Leon leaves a lot to the imagination. If you really want to know who Leon Christian is, just stay tuned.
Stun: You mention on your twitter page that you are also an entertainment editor. Where can our readers check out some of your writing?

Stun: Yes we do follow you on Twitter! Thespeaktee.com is a unique concept we think. Where did the inspiration and/or idea come from for this line of t-shirts?
LC: The overall concept for "The Speak Leon Christian" line and website came from the issues we face in life. I'm a writer as you know, so as I wrote down my thoughts, ideas and goals for my life I realize that I must always be able to speak up for myself. Fashion is a great part of my life. I've always wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry, and that's where I am at this point in my life. So when you put being vocal with my passion for fashion, the end result is "The Speak Tee by Leon Christian".
Stun: Is that it for the t-shirt line or will we see this brand develop into something even more grand?
LC: Of course not!!!! My creative mind exceeds the size of three football fields. My line/brand is the ball, and I have yet to make a touchdown. With that being said, this is just the beginning and there is no end in sight.
LC: At the moment they're only available online. The Speak team is currently working on getting the tee shirts in stores. We're pushing for the end of the year.
Stun: The Fashion world is saturated with up and coming designers. Do you consider yourself part of this group?
LC: It's an honor to be considered part of a group, I see and admire the young designers that are are doing in this industry. However I am an individual and I believe my brand represents my individuality.
Stun: They say that once you get even a "B-List" celeb to be photographed wearing something you created, it will take off. Have you pin pointed who that celeb will be? :)
LC: Wow, that's a good question! I'm shooting for the stars, so let's talk A-listers. I would love to see Katy Perry rock my tee shirts. She's such an amazing talent who inspires me .
Stun: We are going into a serious election cycle. How will TheSpeakTee.com benefit from this if at all? Tons of people have stuff to say!
LC: It's funny that you ask that. I've been hearing that a lot. I believe that The Speak brand speaks volumes on it's own. When creating this collection, I actually didn't have the elections in mind, but it's a great concept giving that election time is when people should definitely use their voices to speak up and be heard for what they believe, want, and need. What better time is there to speak up and be heard than election time? Politics are very serious and undoubtedly affects everyone. A far as The Speak benefiting from the election cycle, I think that would be AWESOME, yet just to be an inspiration to others , that would mean so much more.
Stun: Is your wardrobe right now only SpeakTee products?
LC: Yes, for the moment. I have other things in the making. I do have to ask though, do you have any Speak tee shirts in your wardrobe?
Stun: Ahh Nice! Yes we will definitely be getting a few items from the line. What else should we expect from the Leon Christian brand?
LC: You can expect something a little on the edgy, yet sexy. Something chic, yet fun. I design from emotion, so my next collection will be kind of personal. However it will represent your personal sense of humor and style of the VOCAL consumer.
