Obama's "Treadstone" Kill, No Capture Program

A month ago it was revealed on purpose or by a loose lipped Obama admin official that the President is personally overseeing a kill "no capture" program that targets suspected terrorists, their families, friends and pets (if they get in the way). The President of the United States is basically ordering hits on people his inner circle has labeled as bad individuals. Its basically a "Treadstone" like program like in those Bourne movies. OK so the Pres doesn't fuck around and is taking out the trash before it gets full. But now many are injecting the "Freedom of Information Act" in typical "democracy" fashion, to get a look under the hood of this top secret program so they can say they know who the President is going to have killed next or had killed. But why? Isn't the whole point of a top secret program, is for it to be...secret?  What did they think the President was doing when he signed off on the construction of drone bases all over the middle east and Africa? Now some liberal groups are willing to put our security and the security of our hit squads in jeopardy just to fulfill their own nosiness.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, the Times and the ACLU sought records regarding the legal justifications for the alleged U.S. government killing of U.S. citizens and others associated with al-Qaida and other terrorist groups. In a court document filed late Wednesday in New York, the Justice Department said the release of such documents "would reveal information that could damage the government's counterterrorism efforts."

Did President Obama Throw The Black Community Under The Bus For The Gay Community's Money?

Fox News as always, had an interesting panel the other morning. The panel included conservative author Deneen Borelli  and Sanita Jackson with Fox News's Bill Hammer serving as mediator. The discussion was about President Obama's support of gay marriage which over at Fox News is a new talking point poke the President. As the conversation went on, Deneen Borelli dropped the biggest attack on the President since his coming out in support of marriage in the gay community.

“If you look at how unemployment in the black community is deplorable, it’s 13%, it’s almost double among what it is for whites. And among black teens, it’s 38.2%. Those numbers are outrageous. and so Obama’s policies are failing our country, failing the black community. His energy policy is a regressive policy. High gasoline and utility prices are harming hard-working Americans and those who are unable to afford higher energy prices. So, really, his policies are harming Americans, harming blacks, and I say he has thrown the black community really under the bus in order to get money from the gay community and to get their votes.”

President Obama can do no wrong in the eyes of the hip hop community, at least he hasn't so far. rappers have come out strongly in support of many of the President's policies and now they are slowly falling in line behind the President's recent announcement that he is in favor of gay marriage. The first to publicly come out behind the President is Jay Z who said "It was the right thing for the President to do". Now we all know, as Jay Z goes, so does the Hip Hop community.

President Obama Comes Out of The Closet

Many suspected it since his days as a state senator. When he ran for President back in 2008, he stopped short of admitting it due to fear of a political backlash. When he was elected President he inched closer to coming clean to the American people. Now he's running for re-election and the President finally decided to come out of the closet in support of same sex marriage. President Obama has been setting records since he landed on the political stage. He was the first black American presidential nominee. Went on to become the first black American President. And yesterday, became the first President ever, to come out in support of same sex marriage, further cementing his monopoly on the gay community support and pleasing his major donors/friends in Hollywood.

Bill Maher Drops $1 Million On Obama's Re-election Effort

Funny man Bill Maher has never shied away from his political views or making public his support for a candidates running for office. Maher gives tough love to his candidates, sometimes beating them down on his show for not doing what they say they would. President Obama is no exception. He has publicly reprimanded the President for bending over for Republicans and even the far left wing of the Democratic party. Well he is showing the President some more tough love in the form of $1 Million dollars for his re-election effort and its not even a blip on his bank account. During a comedy stand up act streamed live on Yahoo, Maher said:

"My surprise tonight is I would like to tonight announce a donation to the Obama Super PAC–which has the very unfortunate tongue-twister name ‘Priority (sic) USA Action’,” Maher said. “I know, it was named by Borat. But tonight I would like to give that PAC one million dollars.”

America is known for aiding it's future enemies to power via extensive covert operations tailored for specific situations. America has been involved in and assisted in the overthrow of foreign governments (more recently termed regime change) without the overt use of U.S. military force. Many of the governments targeted by the U.S. have been democratically elected, rather than authoritarian governments or military dictatorships. In many cases, the governments toppled were replaced by dictatorships, sometimes installed with assistance by the U.S.

Take for example Iran. In 1953, the CIA worked with the United Kingdom to overthrow the democratically elected government of Iran led by Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh who had attempted to nationalize Iran's petroleum industry. Britain was so worried about this plan, that it begged the U.S. to launch a joint operation to overthrow Mossadegh and install a regime that was more controllable. America has played a hand (covertly) in the fall of many governments around the world or so it is believed. In 2004 the insurgency against the government of Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide was allegedly supported by the United States. President Aristide claims he was physically removed from the country by U.S. agents against his wishes.

Jayz is The Latest Millionaire Who Says He Wouldn't Mind Paying Higher Taxes

President Obama has some deep pocketed support on his proposed fare share tax hike on the richest 1% ranging from billionaire Warren Buffet to now hip hop mogul Shawn "Jay Z" Carter who says he too wouldn't mind paying higher taxes.

Jay, who is among the wealthy 1 percent, responded, “I wouldn’t mind paying more taxes if it went to the things that really mattered. If it went to education, to people in poverty, if it went to the right things, I wouldn’t mind.” This is a big statement coming from one of the richest hip-hop artists in the rap game. He has plenty of money to give back. According to Forbes, Jay-Z earned $37 million within the past year alone. He will certainly double those earnings next year thanks to his collaborative album ‘Watch the Throne’ with Kanye West and their accompanying sold-out tour.

UPDATE: White House shooting suspect captured in Pennsylvania. Now What?

Its nothing new when you hear news about some idiot trying to penetrate the White House grounds. For years people have crashed planes, fired shots and even scaled fences to gain access to the most famous house on the planet. President Obama has been out of the country traveling on world business. However that didn't stop someone from firing shots at the White House. Thankfully the bullets were stopped by ballistic bullet proof windows. The secret service of course is on the hunt for the culprit and they may even have a suspect (pictured). Who is  21 yr old Oscar Ramiro Ortega and why did he (if he did) fire rounds at the White House?

U.S. Park Police say they believe Ortega fired shots from an AK-47 semiautomatic rifle while in a vehicle on 16th Street and Constitution Avenue NW. He allegedly abandoned the car and the weapon in the 2300 block of Constitution Avenue and fled on foot. The shots were reported between the Ellipse and the Washington Monument grounds, about a half-mile south of the White House.

Don't be fooled by the media pundits and angry talk from the right when it comes to President Obama and the job he is doing. OK, so the past 2 years haven't been perfect and not all the President's policies are winners. polling numbers on the economy and the President's job approval may be low right now, but his overall approval rating still sits at about 50%. What this says is that, Americans are concerned about the economy and they think he could/should do more. But they still think the President deserves a shot and they like the guy.  Also think about where we are coming from and how bad it could have gotten if Obama didn't act fast and made bold decisions to pull our economy back from the crumbling cliff it was sitting on when he took office. Wall Street was out of control and the once mighty U.S. auto industry was knocking on failure's door. Going against a strong push back from the Republican party who wanted to let the auto industry crash and burn which would have resulted in more job loss, Obama and the Democrats pushed through a bail out package, saving many jobs in the auto sector as well as the supporting industries. Now companies like GM are once again profitable and they've paid back their loans with interest to the government. GM and FORD are now planning to invest billions to build new plants which will create new jobs. We are now in another Presidential election, and as potential Republican candidates emerge, it is clear that Obama may very well win a second term. We looked at the current pool of candidates and what they bring to the table as well as some of Obama's accomplishments in his first term to put together 10 reasons Obama will be hard to beat in 2012.
